Your role in our shared journey 

Located at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, you'll contribute to our mission by leading the Credit Control and Accounts Receivable function across the EMEA region, ensuring optimal cash flow management whilst minimising financial risk. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee a diverse team of 17 professionals across multiple countries, driving working capital efficiency through improved DSO performance and strategic credit management, all whilst partnering closely with commercial teams to balance business growth with prudent risk control.

Your role will be instrumental in weaving the fabric of our movement, bringing unique perspectives and driving innovation with every step.  

Your key responsibilities will be:  

• Lead and develop a multi-country team of 17 employees across The Netherlands, Spain, France, and Italy to drive high performance and regional alignment.
• Oversee credit risk assessments, credit limit decisions, and blocked order resolutions to minimise financial exposure across the EMEA region.
• Optimise Days Sales Outstanding and manage overdue balances through structured collection processes to reduce working capital requirements.
• Maintain and update the EMEA Credit Policy whilst ensuring full compliance with internal controls and J-SOX requirements.
• Supervise cash application processes to ensure accurate payment allocation and maintain the integrity of accounts receivable records.
• Collaborate with Commercial teams to balance business growth objectives with effective credit risk management strategies.
• Drive continuous process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency across the credit control function.

• Collaborate with executive leadership to drive positive change. 
• Continuously develop your leadership skills through managing teams and navigating complex challenges. 
• Provide mentorship to junior staff, fostering a culture of (leadership) and personal development. 
• Build a strong professional network. 
• Aid diversity and inclusion in the hiring processes for a more inclusive workplace. 

You have the following skills:  

• Credit control and accounts receivable expertise in international, multi-country environments, spanning at least 8 years
• Team leadership and people management experience, particularly with managing team leads or managers and large teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and business partnering capabilities with commercial teams.
• Analytical thinking with a compliance mindset and attention to detail.
